What is Improved Daily Living?

Improved Daily Living is an NDIS support that provides you with access to a wide range of services that can help you grow your skills and capacity to be indepdent, be a part of the community and increase quality of life.

The aim is to plan for progress and change with clearly outlined outcomes and goals.

What Type of Support is Provided?

Services provided under this support include:

Social Work
Psychology & Counselling
Behaviour Specialist Intervention

In addition to therapy and therapeutic services, Improved Daily Living Services can support you to develop general life skills. Examples of programs include:

Independent Living Skills – cooking, housekeeping, transport, budgeting, community and more
Resilience and Wellbeing – including emotional regulation
Relationships, Dating and Sexuality – friendships, social cues, safety and health
Cooperative skills, team building and family dynamics

These supports are for particularly for school age participants. This broad range of services offers you choice in supports to build and improve skills for daily living and independence. It’s your choice and your life – we’re just here to help!

Currently using another NDIS provider? You can choose to change providers at any time, as long as you follow the notice periods in your service agreement.

Where is Improved Daily Living in My Plan?

Improved Daily Living Services is available to you if it appears in your NDIS plan under CAPACITY BUILDING (CB) Supports.

Where Is This Service Offered?

Like all of Access4u services, Improved Daily Living is available across metropolitan Adelaide, Mount Barker and the Fleurieu Peninsula. View our office locations here.

This service is offered in person at one of our offices or in your own home. We also offer this service via telehealth on a case-by-case basis. If you live in a remote or regional area, please discuss your options with our staff.
