A bit about me:
I have been in the disability sector for five years and a Support Coordinator for over two years now and I love it. I started out as an SSO in a primary school supporting children 5-7 years old with physical and intellectual disabilities, then transitioned into support work then into support coordination. I can’t fault my experience; I have learnt so many invaluable lessons that weren't taught in my studies. I have also supported many people with psychosocial/mental health struggles and guided them into positive spaces. I am very excited to be working for Access4u; I love the values that they work towards as they match my own.

What inspires me to do what I do:
My clients and their families inspire me to keep on going and to strive for better outcomes. I moved out of support work into support coordination to help my clients more in the background and really make a difference where I can. I have a strong passion for working with children to support them and their families as support in their early years is so important!

The most rewarding part of my role is...
I like the challenge and love to see the change from start to end and watch my clients become awesome people, meet their goals and live their best life!

A fun fact about me:

I love playing netball, I umpire and coach two teams every week. I love to read a good book, and I have two Siberian Huskies, Henry and Teddy, that are spoilt rotten!! I also make beaded keyrings, pens, car diffusers and lanyards in my spare time!
