Dylan Taylor

My experience:
I achieved a double major with the Bachelor of Psychological Science and Counselling (BachPsychSciCou) and have qualifications in Coaching and Masters in NLP. I have experience in Drug and Alcohol Counselling, Employment Counselling, Telehealth, Crisis Counselling and am also a general practitioner, in my private practice.

What inspires me to what I do:
I have had the privilege to have had experiences with a large cross-section of society and have felt the relief and appreciation from clients reaching those ‘A-HA’ moments. Advocating for the marginalised and vulnerable is invaluable, offering collaborative support with them and their supports, assists their quality of life and always inspires me to grow, research and deliver.

Areas of expertise/interest:
Complex psychological and behavioural issues
Mental Health and wellbeing
Holistic approaches to life improvement
Assessments and Data collection

The most rewarding part of my role is...
Is working with clients and their families and supports, to reach beyond their diagnosis and behaviours of concern. Utilising assessments and data to uncover the deeper motivations, helps humanise the client and experience a broader quality of life, with self-advocacy and pride. Participating in these developments, is an honour and provides me with a sense of togetherness and community.
