Vicky Waldren
A bit about me:
I’ve worked in the disability sector since 1990. Over the past 35 years I’ve worked in a number of roles, as a Support Worker, then a Developmental Educator and now as a registered Psychologist. My niche area of interest is supporting people living with an intellectual disability who also have mental health challenges.
What inspires me to do what I do:
I find it really motivating to work with people who are disempowered, coming up with solutions to improve their quality of life.
The most rewarding part of my role is...
I love working in collaboration with great teams, especially working alongside people from different backgrounds and with different expertise.
A fun fact about me:
I love walking my labradoodle around the Laratinga Wetlands in Mount Barker, enjoying nature.
