A bit about me:
I have a background in Youth Work, Disability Employment Services and Support Work. These roles led me to plan management where I was lucky enough to learn about the NDIS from a different perspective; I worked with so many wonderful Support Coordinators who encouraged me to pursue this myself. I have now been a Support Coordinator for 2+ years and love it. After meeting some team members of Access4u at networking events I knew it would be a great fit for me.
What inspires me to do what I do:
People often think that having a disability means you can’t do a lot of things. In my career I’ve seen so many inspiring people with disabilities achieve amazing things, but sometimes you just need the right people in your corner to get you to where you want to be. Being apart of that is why I love being a Support Coordinator.
The most rewarding part of my role is...
Sometimes when you first start working with someone new there are some major barriers - when you are able to breakdown those barriers and become someone they trust it’s an amazing feeling.
A fun fact about me:
I have 47 tattoos and counting!
