Naomi Spehr

A bit about me:
I have been working in the disability sector for 8 years. I started as a trainee Support Worker where I supported people across a variety of settings including supported employment and disability aged care. Supported Independent Living is where majority of my experience is based.

I hold a Certificate III in Individual Support, Certificate IV in Disability and Diploma in Community Services.

What inspires me to do what I do:
From a young age I was eager to help others. I am now in a role where I am able to see the small and big wins alike, and the positive impact it has for the person.

The most rewarding part of my role is...
The people we support - ensuring individuals needs are met and teams are supported through positive and challenging times. Seeing improvements in quality of life, capacity, and independence - and empowering them to lead their life.

A fun fact about me:
I enjoy travelling and have seen some specular parts of Australia, and countries oversees.
