Scott Miller
A bit about me:
I have been working in the disability field for 9 years. I fell into working in the disability sector when I was living in Queensland. I started off as a Mentor, then became a Team Leader of a Day Options program. I then moved back to Adelaide. Here, I became a Mentor and furthered my studies in a Diploma of Disability and Community Practice. I am now currently a Home and Living Options Coordinator.
What inspires me to do what I do:
I have always had a passion for caring for others. I love watching people develop, maintain independence and achieve goals.
The most rewarding part of my role is...
Watching staff, families and participants work as a collective, to help our participants achieve their goals, and the happiness that this brings.
A fun fact about me:
I am a qualified Horticulturist. In my spare time, you will find me hanging with friends, going down to the beach, watching sports and camping!
