A bit about me:
I have worked in disability sector for over 20 years. During this time, I have worked in a variety of roles, including as a Support Worker, Enrolled Nurse in an Aged Care facility, a Support Leader and am presently working as a HALO Coordinator with Access4u. I also have qualifications in Aged Care, Mental Health, Disability and Management.
What inspires me do what I do:
I have worked in a team environment in various organizations and been involved in transitioning customers both from their family homes into Supported Accommodation and from group accommodation into living in a more independent-living environment. These have been some of the most rewarding times of my career – enabling an increase of independence and the chance to build on skills resulting in increased confidence and well-being.

Working in this variety of roles has given me a good insight into supporting customers in a person-centered and least intrusive manner, allowing them to be involved and have choice in all aspects of their lives.
A fun fact about me:
I have a beautiful Golden Retriever called Skipper who runs my life outside Access4u!
