Clare Hill
My experience:
I have been working in the Disability sector for 7 years and have been a Support Coordinator for 2 and a half years. Previous to this I was an Enrolled Nurse and worked in Aged Care and Allied Health for 27 years. (18 years Dementia Specific)
What inspires me to do what I do:
I thoroughly enjoy working in a sector where I feel I can make a real difference to the lives of people living with Disability and their families. I have Grand Children with disabilities and have seen the difference NDIS supports has made to their development and their futures. This has given me a greater understanding of some of the challenges people face in their daily lives and the knowledge to help empower people to live their best life.
The most rewarding part of my role is…
Seeing people thrive in their community, employment and community settings.
A fun fact about me:
I’m a bit of a goof and love to have a good laugh with family and friends. I enjoy music and dancing. I also enjoy doing craft and making decorations.
